Oinomikado Ujitada (大炊御門氏忠)
Ujitada OINOMIKADO (1302 - year of death unknown) was a Court noble during the period of Northern and Southern Courts (Japan). He was the first son of Fuyuuji OINOMIKADO. His mother was Mino Yugimonin, a daughter of the Wakasa no kami (the governor of Wakasa Province) named FUJIWARA no Kagetoshi (her father's name was recorded as a Kageyori in the Kugyobunin (directory of court nobles)). His brothers included Fuyunobu OINOMIKADO, Iekoto OINOMIKADO, and Kakushin. His Kaimyo (posthumous Buddhist name) was Shosai. He was awarded the rank of Shonii (Senior Second Rank) and was appointed as Gon Dainagon (a provisional chief councilor of state).
Career
Ujitada was born in 1302 as the first son of Fuyuuji OINOMIKADO.
On September 27, 1315, he was awarded the rank of Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank).
On October 5, 1352, he entered into priesthood.
The year of his death is unknown.
